About Me

I’m a 30-something recent Chicago transplant with an ongoing career in I.T. – that’s right, a young, urban, professional. I can admit that.

I decided to start this because of some advice I received – “Learn WordPress”, “Blog to become an expert”, “your blog is your online persona”, etc. Also, because it’s about time I figure out these intertubes work and how to dump stuff on them.

In October I moved to Chicago in 2008 and got a job doing what I know – tech. I worked for Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management for about 11 months before moving on to Whitehouse Post Productions – a movie and commercial editing company. A year and a half there, and I got an even better job in advertising at Leo Burnett / Arc Worldwide.

In my free time I go snowboarding, biking, bowling, and have been known to play a few video games. That is, until I moved to the Midwest – which has zero mountains. So now I stack dust on my mountain bike and snowboard and spend the sporadic sunny days I get running or riding my road bike.
